Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Psychosocial rehabilitation services are intensive community based services designed to assist families in maintaining stability and permanency, thus preventing the need for long-term residential or psychiatric hospitalization of the child.  Services may be provided in the family home or other natural environment or can be provided in an office setting.  Such services may include assessment, individual and family counseling or therapy, assistance with personal, family and household management, as well as collateral interventions with schools, social service agencies, juvenile justice service
agencies and other systems affecting the child.  Treatment is provided by Bachelor’s Level, Master’s Level and Licensed MFT or LCSW Clinicians depending on the needs of the family.  Frequency of contact is variable and is also determined by the needs of the family.  Typical issues addressed within psychosocial rehabilitation include grief and loss, abuse and neglect, anger management, anxiety, depression, impulse control, communication skills, and family reunification.

Basic Skills Training

Majestic Behavioral Health also provides Basic Skills Training which is specialized remedial skills training for children in such areas as social skills, problem solving, basic living skills, personal safety and self-care, organizational skills, time management, and transitional living skills.  These services are provided in the child’s residence or other natural environment, such as the school setting, day care, or recreational activity.   Providers for basic skills training possess a minimum of a high school diploma.

After-School Program

Majestic Behavioral Health offers a day-treatment program during after-school hours.   Our program focuses on one-on-one homework assistance after school, developing reading skills, and learning about character and behaviors that will bring success in the real world.  Transportation services are available for every client.  Please feel free to call our office for further information (702) 869-4300.
