Welcome to Majestic Community Services.

 

Majestic Community Services provides foster care in three different realms. 

 

Shelter Care

  • Temporary care for neglected and abused children ages 3 days through 17 years.
  • Willing to accept placement services 24 hours a day. 
  • Placement can be up to 30 days. 

 

Sibling Care

  • Care for neglected and abused children ages 3 days through 17 years.
  • Sibling groups of three children or more. 
  • There are several sibling groups in need of foster care; the goal is to keep sibling groups together whenever possible. 

 

Specialized Foster Care

  • Care for neglected and abused children ages 3 days through 17 years.
  • Children with emotional/behavioral needs which need to be addressed with services.
  • Children who required smaller settings – generally one or two specialized children are placed in a foster home. 

 

Minimum qualifications of foster parents

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Clear local background check, FBI check, Adam Walsh Check (a check for abuse/neglect allegations)
  • Able to maintain a stable emotional, physical, and financial household
  • Obtain proof of negative TB test
  • Obtain proof of High School Diploma/equivalent
  • Have CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Possess valid driver’s license, with vehicle and insurance.
  • Maintain homeowner’s/renter’s insurance.
  • Successfully complete an application packet, reference checks, training, interview, and a home study.  

 

Training

  • There is a requirement of 40 hours of training prior to being licensed.
  • There is a requirement of 20 hours of training annually for license renewal.

 

Majestic Community Services Case Managers

  • Each foster home will be assigned a Majestic Community Services Case Manger
  • The Case Manger will provide assistance and support as needed
  • The Case Manger will conduct at a minimum weekly home visitations
